Terms of Service

By using Froget, you agree to these terms. AI estimates and community product data may be incomplete and do not replace professional, medical, or nutritional advice.

Acceptance and Changes

By using the app, you agree to these terms. We may amend them from time to time; by continuing to use the app after a change, you accept the amended terms.

Account

You create your account through Sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity under it. Your account is personal and non-transferable.

Proper Use

You must not misuse the app, bypass security, access other people's data, or add content you do not have the right to use.

Your Content

Your lists, items, recipes, club cards, receipts, and photos remain yours. You grant us only the license needed to operate the service: the AI processing you request, synchronization, and displaying your content to authorized household members. You are responsible for the legality of your content.

AI Output

AI estimates, recognized text, categories, recipes, and recommendations may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and you must verify them before use. The app does not provide medical or nutritional advice and does not replace consulting a qualified professional.

Recipes and Safety

For recipes, always check allergens, intolerances, the condition of your food, safe cooking temperatures, and portion suitability. Your dietary profile and AI reduce the risk of an unsuitable suggestion but do not guarantee health or food safety.

Personalization

The "For You" feature builds recommendations from your use of the app. It is optional, you can pause it or delete its memory, and its output may not be accurate or complete.

Coins

Coins are an internal digital credit for AI and premium features, including Smart Add, scanning, recipe import and creation, and optional personalization. The price is shown before the action, coins have no monetary value outside the app, and they are non-transferable. You may receive some coins free of charge, such as a sign-up bonus.

Buying Coins

You can buy additional coins as consumable in-app purchases (packs of 100, 300, and 600 coins) through the App Store. Apple processes payments under its terms, and current prices are shown directly in the App Store; we do not store payment-card details. Coins are digital content credited immediately after the purchase is verified.

Premium

Premium is an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription purchased through the App Store. The price and period are shown before purchase confirmation. Apple charges the payment and the subscription renews until you cancel it in App Store settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; access remains until the end of the paid period. AI features are included under a fair-use limit of 100 coin units per day and 500 per month, which protects the service from automated or excessive use.

Refunds

Apple handles refund requests under App Store rules — contact Apple or us at havlin.dev+froget@gmail.com. Because coins are digital content made available immediately, you agree that performance begins before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, so that right ends for coins already used. We securely retain the unused balance after account deletion and restore it when you sign in with the same Apple account.

Availability and Third Parties

Some features depend on third-party services (Apple, OpenAI, Open Food Facts, Convex). These services and the related app features may change, be limited, or become temporarily unavailable.

Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties beyond those required by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a serious breach of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and applicable European Union regulations, including consumer-protection rules.
